The Swamps in florida are just some of the coolest "swamps" around I think. And...a little spooky too. Enjoy, Thanks for looking.

Looks like my back yard after a hard rain. Great for catching crawdads. LOL. That sure is some pretty green water. Better than the brown water we have around here. Nice picture, Greg.

Good post Greg. You and EJ do the swamps and bayous justice. The roots looks so interesting and the photo is so clear. Looks like a good place for a old lineman to do some climbing.

Those cypress are such amazing trees. They fascinate me and in this image, the dark in the distance adds that sense of spookiness to the swamp. I like the nice greens in the water as well and the reflections are really nice too. A very fine image, Greg.

The only thing spooky about it is knowing that there's a gator in there looking for something to chew on! GREAT shot my friend.=)

This is such a lovely shot in every way. It makes me feel as if I was there. Fascinating environment and very different from the environment we have here. Great work!

Great detail of the nubari! Nubari is a japanese term used to describe the swell of the base of the trunk, and is a desired effect artificially produced in the art of bonsai.

Beautiful shot. I am going to use this as a model for my next miniature tree.
