A Vue 6 Render. 163 hours....Quite a bit of "enhancement" in Photoshop. And....for all the people that gripe about the small size of my posted images...."Happy New Year"!! :-)
No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. . . . ASTON VILLA FOOTBALL CLUB.
I had to fave this Greg. It is beautiful. No telling how much lard my grandmother could have rendered in 163 hours. There is a scene in the movie "How the West Was Won" that this reminds me off.
FINALLY, eh Greg?! It was well worth the wait! I really like the metallic rock and the rich atmosphere. Nice lighting effects! PS....I'm STILL waiting for my Christmas render to finish. LOL! Wen
Great work on the cave, the lighting in it is perfect, awsome job and works great as a background. Also you might want to take a look here: http://users.tns.net/~mwalter1/Vue_Render_Settings.pdf Gives great tips and advice for decreasing render times in Vue. One great tip is select small render areas that may be problem areas and raise the settings untill the look is good and clean and thats where you can stop. Also larger resolution images are easyer to postwork and generaly require less Anti-Aliasing(a big time eater.)
