Wonderful! See what others say, but I definitely think this is an improvement. I no longer see any roughness or jaggedness. I don't feel strongly either way about the colour, though I haven't compared them side-by-side, but the quality I see as a big improvement. (Worth the render time, I hope.)

Only one thing: I _believe_ this is in the wrong gallery. I think this gallery is intended for reworks by persons other than the original artists and that revisions by the original artists are meant to go in the normal gallery. So much has changed that I'm not sure this hasn't too, so you might want to check if you haven't already. (Read: don't take my word for it, please!)

I was so interested in the first version of this that I saved it in my fractal folder on my hard drive. I saw your rework and kicked the other one out and put this one in...excellent, and I'm going to remember this when next I do a render. It was well worth it ...

I'd be curious as to what you consider a long time to wait ..

the difference between this and the other is like night and day to the sharp eye .. as for color I prefer the original, because it's a wee bit darker

and if you ever submit your work for printing, you will want a large original .. larger than you might think
