I took into consideration some pointers people have given me on my other photos and tried to incorporate them here. I think it came out pretty good. Plus, if you use it as a wallpaper the cat is looking at the desktop icons, which is a pretty cool effect.

The idea you had in mind here is a good one. But, for this to really work as a desktop, the background needed to be out of focus considerable more so that we could not make out any distracting detail back there. Very pretty kitty.

I agree with PatAndre - The picture would look much better if those cupboard and things in the background are completely removed.
