This Protestant church was built in the Gothic style between 1865 and 1876. It sits on an island in the middle of the Feuersee (Fire Lake). A beautiful church, but hard to capture due to the trees all around. Comments and critiques welcome...

Well, if it's a hard capture to get you've certainly done well here. I don't think this place would look the same without the trees. They are really chartreus-y. This photo is really beautiful and something I'll probably never see... Thank you for another vicarious vision. ~Mary~

Trees are so great but sometimes they really get in the way :-] It's a nice pic and the water really helps to add softness to it.

I always thought, that protestan do simple churches. Well, I am happy, this is not the case here. This is a beautiful church and I also like, that you captured the beautiful well in the left site. Very good capture.
