I did two rather large projects on this one. The first thing was to eradicate what Fogz identified as "monochromatic abberation" around the lower edges of the first arch...pretty tedious & time consuming. Any idea what the second tweak was? The result wasn't perfect, but it's better than it was. Comments, critiques and suggestion welcome.

Much better, though I did like the first one. I do really enjoy all of these.

sometimes it is tedious Chris, that is unless you really enjoy doing the adjustments - and of course it is a lot easier using some programs than others! You did a great job here - I really like this one and the sky is blue!!! ;)

I think it is the best image of the whole series, because the blue sky makes it look even more beautiful. I ask myself, if this is the second point - if so, it was a perfect work.

So you added in the extra layer with the blue sky, but didn't you also add another element to this as well? It looks great and if you have PSCS3 with RAW4 that color abberation correction is as easy as using a slider. This looks great and was worth all the time and effort. It's one of the things I love to do in PS. !!!!! Yes, I know. I'm strange :) :) :) :)

Right on...I worked the "monochromatic abberation" (sounds like a terminal disease...lol!) out, and through trial and error, figured out how to add some semblance of a sky to it. I actually took a piece of the sky out of "From the Battlements" and used the "Paste in" function in Photofiltre. I'm not high speed enough to be messing with PS yet...lol! I'm glad you all liked this...I think it's the last of the Hohenurach ruins for awhile unless the sun actually comes out. I appreciate all the comments and recommended improvements...I'm slow, but I do learn...lol!

Since I can't compare it to the first, I would only be guessing. Oh, I should have read what you said above. That would have been a guess because I know she has been commenting on the sky in your other shots. Well, this one is definitely a winner of a shot, especially because of the perspective and the colors. You did a splendid job with the sky. I wouldn't have known that you did anything at all. This is really great.
