Another shot of the Chesapeake from Cheriton, Va. Just blind luck to catch the gull in the frame, but that's what it takes occassionally.

Nice shot. Good exposure and color, but could be improved by rotating a degree or so counterclockwise to level the horizon.

this is lovely Chris! Love the composition, the lines, the foreground and the inclusion of the bird! Just a very slight tilt on the horizon which can be corrected easily. excellent shot my friend!

Such vivid colours, very very nice, I agree, just fix the horizon a tad.

Love the effect of the wind on the water and the shadows on the grasses in the foreground. This is a very well-composed piece.

Nice composition, great color and the bird was a gift. lol You have caught the breeze in the shot with the swaying grasses and the ripples on the water.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Great about the gull. Its just perfect for that empty space there. Smile. So the whole composition fits perfect.
