Yesterday it was storming and raining the entire time. But in the late afternoon I noticed it was dry, so I grabbed my cam and ran outside. I had maybe time to make 5 shots before I had to run back inside. It didn't stop raining anymore! ;-( But in that brief moment somewhere the sun broke through and put some trees in her spotlight! ;-)

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Wow! That sky really looks threatening. Makes for an interesting combination, with the sun shining. The trees on your street look gorgeous. It looks like a very nice neighborhood, also. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of where you live. Fantastic picture, Gabrielle.

Found this in the VB. I love how you captured the fall colours in the trees against the dark stormy sky. Nice work.

Looks like it's windy too judging from the tree. Great capture. Mother Nature makes the best flash attachment in the world. Glad you ventured out. Now dry off and drink something warm. Very good Gabi.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

A very colorful scene - One can see that the trees have been trying to stand up to the wind for a long time.
