Great shot of one of the most fascinating structures I have ever seen...but not in person. Click here to hear the song La Sagrada Familia, by The Alan Parsons Project. It has a lot of great shots of the church in the video portion. The song starts out a little softly, so turn your volume up.

Totally amazing structure! Interesting story about this on Wikipedia. I like the model of the finished church. I wonder what the inside will be like. Thanks for bringing this to us.

I like it that they are aiming for the 100th anniversary of Gaudi's death. What a beautiful church it will be. Great photo and info Gabi. Nice post.

Ah yes, Gaudi's masterpiece. As I said before I can never make up my mind whether I like it or not, but there's no denying how impressive it is. Also I think it's great that it's still under construction. There's no building on this scale being built anywhere else, and it's into its 120th year of construction or something. I like the way you've framed it with the trees here, it gives life to the otherwise bland colour. Great stuff.

Oh how gaudy :P. Many proclaim that he is credited with that saying!! You've captured his work in progress very well. Nice touch in incorporating the tree to reduce distracting objects around the piece. Well done!! :)

Hey, I stood on top of one of those towers!
Magnificent place!
I like this photo much, because I takes decades to build it and now you show us nicely the contrast between old and new towers.
The Sacrada and the cranes, what a view!
