Yesterday I was reminded how fast time goes by. I got the sad news that my grandmother had past away... she was way in her nighties and almost deaf and blind... so I know it is better for her... but still it hurts.

Neat old clock!! Nice as a desktop wallpaper, yet, not so great because if I have a meeting at 1:00 o'clock I'll keep thinkin' I've got plenty of time and miss the meeting!!

Although for everyone once the time will come to pass away, it hurts indeed when it's the turn now to a beloved person Gabrielle. Wish you my sincere condolences with the loss of your grandmother. To me you have chosen for an approriate image.
Regards, Cornelius.

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news Gabrielle. No matter how prepared we are for news such as this it is always a shock when it happens. Try to focus on the memories of all the good times you had with your Grandmother. This is a lovely and appropriate image for so many reasons.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother Gaby. Mine died in 1999 and I still think of her most days. It does make you realise how fast time passes. This picture is a nice way to express it.

I too am very sorry for your loss. The clock is a well thought out image for this sad time. You did a very good job I would like to add. Time does slip away faster and faster.

The timepiece is as perfect as it gets for a tribute/remembrance for your grandmother. Grandmother's are so special. There is no wrong in thier eyes.

For some reason, when I look at the photo the clock looks like the back tire on a bicycle. Maybe I am just tired.

Good post and I am truly sorry for your loss.

I'm sad you lost your grandmother, but wasn't she fortunate to have had such a long life, and all the time she was able to share with you and others. What a gift she must have given to all of you! The fond memories too. I like this photo of the clock, but I would loved to have seen it either in a vertical photo, with less sky, or maybe with part of the wall or pole it was on showing. I would love to draw this in black ink. It's got such a nice look to it. Verena
