When I woke up saterday I went down stairs and opened my front door to get the mail... when I looked outside this is what I saw.... or rather did not see. Please feel free to comment.

Gabrielle, this is beautiful. It is like a wonderful painting. I hope I get this in VB. You were very quick to spot the beauty in the scene that you saw when you opened your door. Of course, I have a vision of you half-asleep rushing around trying to remember where your camera was! LOL

I can see the fog, but I can just barely see the power lines. Nice shot Gabrielle. By the time I would have gotten the camera ready to take the picture, the fog would have lifted.

I love the fog, it can make things so atmospheric. Combined with the pink dawn sky and the row of trees here it has made for a very nice image. The horizon is a bit slanted and it might stand a bit of straightening, but that doesn't take away from the impact of the scene.
