You must have been in Custer State Park? Great shot of this big bull Bison! I knew this had to be the Black Hills when I saw it! Real nice capture!

THE CAMERA'S ONLY JOB is to get out of the way of making photographs. It's entirely an artist's eye, patience, and skill that makes an image. ~Ken Rockwell VISIT MY GALLERY

I have a pic that I took a while ago with a 35mm Canon in the Badlands of N. Dakota. I was about 20-25 feet away from a cow suckling her calf...they filled the frame from end to end..it was one of the biggest thrills of my life...I still have the negative and hope someday it will be appreciated...these beasts there in the Dakotas believe they are wild and free and when you step out, you are at their mercy...great shot :)

The Buffalo in SD are wonderful for sure. The movie with KEvin Costner....was filmed there, along with thousands of buffalo.
The only other place they are is pretty much in Yellowstone, but not near as many as in South Dakota. I'm so glad you took this bigtime guys photo. Nicely done. Verena

"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best," and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called. ~A.A. Milne
