Here's another shot I took in the Badlands of South Dakota. In this area the color of the hills had a "rust" look.

Looks like a dried up riverbed. Im looking for the cowboys and Indians to come around the corner :) Great shot - Nice vivid colors and clarity.

Other than the grasses it looks very lifeless. Good perspective. I've seen the Badlands and they are strangely beautiful. Terry

Nice shot Rich, Brings up memories when I lived in Alberta and much younger, we camped in the Badlands of southern Alberta. I can remember the small cactus and hoodoos formed by the erosion of the clay in the Red Deer river valley. Lance
