I've always been intrigued by high voltage lines and the way their carrier towers are laid out...Into the favs with this...Thanks for sharing...

Nice shot. I am an engineer for an electric utility and I actually plan and design where these high voltage lines need to be built. Those lines appear to be 2 double circuited 138 kV lines-is there a power plant nearby?

Thanks for the comments. I don't believe there is a power plant nearby. I think the closest one is just over 100Km away.
I do know that we export power to the USA (this is in Canada). That could be where those lines are headed, since they are heading straight south. Not sure though ;)

I caught this in the booth and had to stop by to say I think its brilliant. On my first look I thoght it was a mirror image but on closer inspection I see its not. I`ve spent a lot of time removing powerlines from photos, I hate them to be honest, but now after seeing this I think...they can be interesting too. A really great shot!
