A really nice capture of this beautiful bird! I've never actually seen one. I can't believe how long it's beak is, looks dangerous, if you're a minnow!

They can stand still for hours waiting for a fish or whatever will fit down it's gullet to come along. I've seen photos someone took of one devouring a marsh rabbit! You're only seeing half it's neck, they grow quite large.
