For those of you that remember the 70's rock music scene will get the reference. For those that do not, here http://www.feelnumb.com/2009/09/23/pink-floyd-animals-cover-at-battersea-power-station/ This is where most of southeast Florida gets it's power from. Big bend power plant Apolo Beach. It's also a great spot to view Manatee's in the winter. Taken Dec 2014.

----Where's the pig?----

Good question Alex.

I've checked-out your link and saw some captures with the 'pink pig in flight'. Have read as well that the photo shoot for the cover of Pink Floyd's 'Animals' album was taken in early December 1976. For this occasion this (inflatable) pink pig was tethered to one of the southern chimneys.

Even without a pig (lol), it's still an impressive image.

Hey my brother bought me the double vinyl lp Ummagumma before Animals and being an ex Londoner the redundant Battersea power station is etched on my brain. (o:
A fine industrial photograph, I admire any power plant except nuclear naturally. (o:

This looks even better than the one with the pig. Very good clarity and composition.
