No, it's not a tooth or another part of me; not sure what it is. I think it is a shriveled bud or some other fauna. It looks familiar, but I can't quite place what tree it is from. Taken 11/29/15, Morris Bridge Park.
Boy, I remember stepping on those things when I was young boy. It comes from what we in Texas call American Sweetgum Tree. Great close-up of this spiky torcher device.
