I was looking for a Manic Monday shot that wouldn't offend my Caedes clique. I found this subtle and sublime gem. When I was about seven years old I was playing with the camera and from the look on my mother's face she didn't want me using up the roll of film. The lighting isn't great but you can still get the gist of it.

Your mom does not look happy in this photo. Tasters Choice talk about a blast from the past.

Do they still make Taster's Choice? I used to love that stuff. Shame on you for using all the film!

Something surreal about this shot Alex. It's like a photo of a dream.

Always pays to experiment at that age!....it learns you more professionalism later in life!

Alex, the fact that you still have this old picture, may indicate that it's cherished by you for perhaps several reasons. The presence of your late mother in it, could revive a fond memory of her.
Keep it in a safe way, my friend!

What's even more surreal is, you can barely see it being it is so over exposed, but the cookie tin in the right foreground is about 2 meters from where I am sitting right now with cookies in it! haha. I also still have a couple of the plastic storage containers that on the top left shelf in the photo.

Long before the white man and long before the wheel, when the dark green forests were too silent to be real. Lightfoot 1967
