I took this photo of what at first appeared to be a hornet nest but at closer look appears to be a bird's nest. Not sure what bird it is, but will ask the experts as soon as I'm done here. Taken at Lettuce Lake December 14th 2015.

It's the Lesser Spotted Hornet Nest!....;)

Whatever it is...a good find, but I would keep away from it....in case!

I at first didn't want to assume it was a hornet's nest even that is and thought it was an exotic birds nest being that I did not see any hornets around. Either way there's a bit of egg on my face.
