These are the famous geese that are always present at the foot of L'anse Bay in Baraga, Mi. This is also the spot where my mother's ashes and mine will be spread. You can see "The Red Rocks" in the background, a stony wall along U.S 41. My mother was born in a house up the road near the red rocks. I have spent a lot of time in this area as well, but never lived there. This picture was taken by me around 1977.
