IMO I nailed the light right at the peak of the "golden hour" before sunset. There's no post editing and no filters were used for this capture. I know it would be more appealing if I used a diffuser and it is a bit washed out, but it's one of my better shots. Taken at Lettuce Lake Park November 5th 2016.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
