The other day while walking around Lettuce Lake I headed off the trial and found the beer cans along with an area I had never explored before. There were a lot of great vibes to this area, and since the park rangers made a firebreak, walking around was very easy. This photo looks so primal and you wouldn't guess it's less than 100 yards from a busy road. That's one of the things I love the most about Lettuce Lake; it is such a beautiful microcosm of nature so close to civilization.

Beautiful shot with all the shadows and the plants and trees Alex. In Hamburg we have two big parks within the city where you cannot feel the bustle outside.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
The firebreak has given depth to this scene, Alex, creating this way a more dynamic rather than a static character to this very fine composition.
