Quite an excellent capture, but it's a bit too realistic for me, and seeing this first thing in the morning is a bit unsettling. Very, very interesting, and actually a bit awesome.

It doesn't bite - but, that won't have me standing around taking its photo. Since you did, you have a nice controlled depth of field with the focus on the face, especially the eyes. Well done!

They sure are playful snakes. I remember chasing one once and decided to let it go. The second I turned my back it came chasing me. We went on for awhile like that. Finally it slithered away. Brings back those childhood memories. Good one Alex.

Don't whether I'm right or wrong, Alex, but it seems that this 'adorable critter' is looking mean to me. Therefore I'm glad that you (as the 'adventurer', ☺ ) took this image while I'm safely watching it behind my screen.
