While at Lettuce Lake on April 25, 2017, I captured some pictures of animal tracks in the mud. I realise this image isn't great, but I wanted to share since I don't know what this creature could be. I take Bigfoot sightings tongue in cheek and don't believe this is the fabled Florida Skunk ape but it is mysterious. Here's a whimsical video of an alleged Bigfoot sighting at Lettuce Lake.

I really hope it is Bigfoot. I always wondered why, when you see those low resolution films of a Bigfoot, he/she is always alone. How do they breed? How do they exist, century after century. Like Nellie, wouldn't you think it takes a village to recreate? ;)

The yeti "lives" only in the Himalayas. So this "creation of nature" is not from any alien. But good spotting from you and good imagination too..

Two possibilities Alex:
1. The terrible snowman, aka yeti, has lost the way;
2. The terrible snowman, aka yeti, has vacation, and is on his way to Disney World.
Hope however for you that you don't shake hands with him, my friend, ☺ ☺ ☺ .
You keen eyes has resulted is this good one!

What an intriguing pic, Alex!

Grins at Raj's certainty that Yeti is solely Himalayan. I'm not very familiar with the Florida Skunk Ape legend, but I have never seen an image of what were thought to be Big Foot tracks that contained opposable thumbs. Big Foot's feet are thought to be similar in structure to our own.

(Note: I personally find it difficult to believe in a Sasquatch remaining so well hidden out there, but don't entirely rule it out either. There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio ...)

It is difficult to gauge the size without a clear size reference in your photograph, Alex. But, given the narrow heel, opposable thumb, and lack of toe splaying, honest to god ... it looks like a baboon track.

That's not as entirely outlandish as it sounds. Florida has a big problem with exotic animals being abandoned on the loose, including baboons.

So ... it's possible.
