I have been catching up on a few things and I had some difficulty finding an entry for Whacky Wednesday. Not sure how whacky this is though. We have the deed to our old house in Detroit. The absolute cool thing is, it starts with the very first owner of the property back in 1821! There is a Conner street nearby named after him. I could imagine what Detroit was like back then, not a hick town, but no sky scrapers, etc.

Alex, I like to confirm what you've already 'stated' in your title and narrative. To me it isn't a image of a wacky subject, but an historical document. Very interesting and it 'reveals' perfectly how certain things were done in this era.
