Not quite sure, but this may be an immature snowy egret. Taken at Lettuce Lake Park April 2017.

He/he hasn't got the full white color yet but it will come. Nice capture, good composition and details too.

I don't know, but I would guess that he/she has turned her head to listen to your presence to make sure of his/her safety. I hope that food will shortly be found by our feathered friend, shortly. Wonderful capture.
