I figured I had a moment to submit one last photo. This shot was taken at Everglades City about 200 miles south of here in 2003. Irma is currently battering the small fishing town. It was one of my favourite get away places. Power may go out this evening, so it will be a few days till I can let you all know how we are. We are prepared and have good shelter.

Hope all goes well Alex and that you are taking all precautions. CNN is showing all details continuously. Nice sunset and a calm sea.

Beautiful capture before that tropical storm. Hopefully didn't wash away all of the beauty of florida. Good luck to you and your family as well. :)

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
