I wanted to submit this yesterday for FF but got called away. This is a simple yet deadly flower, Hemlock. Socrates was forced to drink a tea made of it. Taken at Lettuce Lake June 2017.

The white clusters look so harmless, but beauty can be deceptive as is the case with your Foofy Friday capture of Hemlock!!!!!!!!!

Pretty poison but the delicate little flowers looks so nice against all that greenery...nice shot, Alex.

I thought yesterday was supposed to be the first day of the rest of my life but it turns out today is. (Steve Martin)

May be a little late, but as my poppa use to say: better late then never, lol. I really like the presentation of this deadly plant, another name for it is: Poison Hemlock.

That white on green looks beautiful - I suppose the insects/birds know that this is poison. Good one!

Alex, I've read this on the net:

"In ancient Greece, hemlock was used to poison condemned prisoners. The most famous victim of hemlock poisoning is the philosopher Socrates. After being accused of impiety and corrupting the young men of Athens, in 399 BC, his trial resulted in his being condemned to death. Although Socrates could have avoided death, he decided to take a potent infusion of the hemlock plant."

So a beautiful killer, my friend.
