These are Plumeria blossoms which only come about every several years or so. This was taken April 2004. I have a cutting from this plant on my patio. I planted the original behind my apartment. The plant remained there about 2 years ago until they yanked it out and threw it in the compost heap to make room for new landscaping. It had grown to over 8 feet tall.

Very good shot with the water drops and nice details on the flowers.

Alex, a shower and/or watering in time and a very friendly climate in your area has made that this Plumeria has grown very fast. Maybe the pruning of this plant would have been an option, instead of relegating it to your compost heap. But it's obviously your decision.
In every case you (and now we too) have a nice picture of it.
Thanks, my friend!

Edit: thanks for the explanation below, Alex!

Sorry for the misunderstanding. The complex where I lived threw it out. I had permanently planted it in the ground, so when I moved, it was still there. I had absolutely no say in what happened to it.

Very pretty flower, it's ashame it had to be pulled out after growing that much. Its great you got a pic of it beforehand so it can be immortalized here on caedes. :)
