This is my first day back to work. It went real well, but I didn't sleep too well last night and I'm going to grab supper and hit the sack. I was looking for something for MM and saw this. There is a store (GFS) me and my mom used to go to a few times a month and while walking down the back aisle I saw the impression of a turkey oak leaf in the concrete. I deduced that after they laid the slab of concrete for the foundation, a leaf blew onto the concrete forming the impression.

Very cool find, Alex...it has such an abstract look and I like the details we can see in this broken, captured leaf...great shot and post.

'Art 'connoisseurs' (☺) will confirm that this 'eternal leaf' now is an 'contemporary abstract' now. Maybe a tad manic, but that depends on someone's taste.

This is a very unusual find and a nice shot of it. I have seen all kinds of imprints on concrete but not something like this.
