I just wanted to let you know I hope to be able to catch up with posting the next couple days. As I awoke this morning I saw this story, and couldn't resist sharing. Although, alligators and crocs, etc should be treated with the upmost respect, I do believe they can relate a "tiny bit" and can recognise and have an affinty to some people. They are NOT pets and one must always remember your living in their world when you put yourself in this position. Hence, the disclaimer at the bottom of the article.

Referring to your link: wish I had the courage of Makenzie Noland, Alex, ☺ ! I agree with you however that gators aren't pets!
To me, they are, to a certain extent, devils in disguise. Your excellent capture enhances this feeling to me.
Perfect post, my friend!

This sure is a good detailed close up of this one. After reading the article, I think that could very well be a bad accident waiting to happen, and seems rather stupid on her part, and probably would be tragic results for her, and the gator. tigs=^..^=
