Taken at Lettuce Lake park in October 2015. I thought the vines growing up this sand pine looked interesting, so gave it a straight up vertical shot. Caedes seems pretty slow lately. Not in accessing the site, but in member participation. I know the majority of us have hectic lives including me, but it used to be a lot more active here. I suppose as time goes on, cliques dissolve and people lose interest or do not want to spend the time as they used to. I wish time didn't slip away so quickly and I could comment and post more often. Anyhow, I digress. I hope all is well with my Caedes friends. Take care

Like the angle of your shot and those vines look like they are thriving Alex - however, the tree may eventually suffer deterioration and become weak in the long term - Great Capture - Keep Posting my friend.

You've hit the nail on its head, Alex, by recognizing the decreased interest in Caedes.
I realize as well that contributing to Caedes (sharing images and commenting on other ones) can be rather time-consuming and that the for some one available time can be limited by e.g. having a full-time job, but I suppose that Caedes has a lot of advantages making it worthwhile being a part of this community, and spend some effort on it, but of course, it's not up to me to decide to do so.

Thanks anyhow for your (again fine) contribution. Please let them come, my friend!

I really like the angle on this shot Alex - one of my favorite ways to shoot a tall tree. I agree with your comments about Caedes but don't know how it can be changed given the busy lifestyles in today's world.

Love the perspective - although my neck hurts.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I hope it's not poison ivy. I am so sensitive to it I think I itch just seeing a picture. Good photography though.
