I hope all my Caedian friends are doing well this Tuesday. I managed to get to Lettuce Lake a few days ago (10/12/18) and took a macro of a a spider web that came out with good detail. I don't know if it's cyclical, but I remember 20 years ago, there were many golden silk spiders throughout the area and their webs would span across the river at times! The imposing nature of these arachnids as in this post doesn't give and accurate impression as to how gentle this intimidating creatures are. I have had these guy's walk on my arm with no sign of aggression. The one thing spiders hate is being blown on, it's the equivalent of petting a cat backwards or rubbing it's stomach. :) I apologise in advance to all my arachnophobe friends.

Thanks for the narrative, Alex. I would very much like to see that spider web that spanned the laked. That seems awesome to me. Good capture. Thanks for the tip on petting spiders. I'll try to remember that.
