This is a capture of me around 11 years old in 1980 atop the Red Rocks, actually The Bishop Baraga shrine memorial. The Red Rocks are beneath this site. Here is a view of the Red Rocks from an entry I submitted. This is one of the photo's I cheerish the most. Me and my mum made a trip up there just me and her and I'll always remember how significant it was. Such wonderful history and people that I met while there, something I'll always remember. Sniff.

You have a lot of memorable photos with your Mom, Alex...in this one you look like a very tiny person standing on top of a pile of giant bricks...interesting history to this area.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
