This is truly magnificent. The lighting is awesome and the "poof and it's gone" feeling is very evident. You did a great job here. Thanks for sharing this one Boris.

A really terrific capture! What a novel idea. The dandelion is watching the sun going down. At least, that's how it looks to me. Wonderful idea, nicely executed.

What is it about dandelions that they photograph so well once they are fully developed and ready to spread their kind all over? I've seen so many dramatic posts of these beauties, but you've taken this over the top and made it into a work of art that is yet to be surpassed using the lowly yellow weed that I love to see in the spring, and my neighbor hates so much that it's time to get out the weed killer and uproot all of them in his book...lol...I know a lot of people hate them, but I just eat the greens, chewing, while enjoying what extremely creative people like yourself do with the leftovers after the bloom has faded and the seeds are ready to take flight and before they drift away....great composition and excellent execution of an idea that's sprung from your talented mind :)PJ

Hi Boris, this is outstanding. You have captured the sunset, and the last of the sun's rays perfectly filtering through those fragile gossamer seeds, creating those rainbow effects. Thanks so much for sharing this, it's a must for my favs...Jacquie

This and the others in your gallery are very well done! I'd hate to miss your future photos so I've added you to my friends list. Thanks, Boris!

I can't afford a camera. The only camera I have now is a 1.3 megapixel cell phone camera which really sucks. When I finally am able to buy a proper camera, look out cuz Caedes, here I come!! For now though, I'll just learn from the gurus here *blush*
