If I remember correctly this is an area called Dream Lake in Luray Caverns. The ceiling is reflected by a relatively shallow pool of water, and makes it look as if there are small stalagmites growing up from the floor - when in fact there are none. I was trying out my new camera, and taking photos of the lake are tricky since a flash destroys the effect and the caverns are not brightly lit.

Very nice Allie. It has been some time since you posted. The last I knew you had lost your camera. Your new one really did a nice job on this one. The reflcections are outstanding. I expect to see a bat come out at any moment. Good post and welcome back.

Good work in balance and composition. It does have a lot of noise but I think it gives a painted texture. I can hear the water dripping.
