This is a wildflower that grows here in Wisconsin and I find it especially interesting to watch them grow. The flowers bud from the top down, but only opening a few at a time and then only for ONE day! So everyday is a different image.

A really beautiful flower. The cobolt-blue and sunny yellow are such an eye-pleasing combination.

That's a very pretty image, well done. But your composition would have been more pleasing if you would have cropped it so your main subject isn't dead centre. Nice DOF!
