This is the final version. The other one was taken down due to nudity. I believe that this has been corrected now. honestly, I've seen photo works of statues/sculptures with more nudity than this. As always, comments are very welcomed! Michael.

Well, I think I saw the first one, and I wasn't offended in the least. It's hard to get all worked up about images that look like plastic dolls that might happen to have some nude aspect to them, but I guess this is family site, but then again, I wouldn't think twice about taking my children to an art gallery..well, it's a long time battle in the art world, so don't feel bad. I like this as well as the other ..nice work :)PJ

Interesting... Is there a story behind these creatures? Like liquid darkness confining human emotions.

I have a certain attachment to your "lil' ones".

And this piece brings it together nicely for my mind.

Wasn't quite sure about your colour choices here ... but, there is a peace that I perceive and you have introduced an element of their existence that tempers the initial malevolence I did associate with their presence.

Hmm, not too far off the mark in reality I suppose. Bit of yin and yang in each of use. Different facets to our personalities and given any setting, it may serve to heighten those perceptions depending on that setting.

Well balanced composition.

I am going to weigh in briefly on the discussion brought forth by your narrative ... despite the alterations you had to make to keep your image posted ... the detraction is very minor.

And if I may be so bold ... although this could be purely an artistic decision on your part ... the facelessness of the 'Mother'?

Would have been interesting to me ... and perhaps somewhat revealing as to the nature of this entity ... to have some more of the facial expression visible.

Just some thoughts.

Nice work Michael. Look forward to the return visit ... once again. :o)
