I see hope and an uplifting of spirits as life goes on and the memories help to lighten the load..

your dad should be proud. i can only imagine how much work you went through making this image. color is otherworldly and so is the rest of the piece. great work.

This is truly other-worldly, yet it seems very realistic. The lens flare makes the viewer almost believe it is a photograph. Splendid work!

Ok, now that introductions have been dispensed with (nice to be back in your gallery ;o) ) ... this image here ...

You have created a very magical piece here. Highly interpretative for the viewers, as echoed in the above comments. And that is high praise.

I like the ... hmm, what is the operative word here ... skeletal look of the dwelling structure. It conveys the solitude and perhaps, the incomplete life of your hermit.

The flora look great and quite fitting. Splashes of colour and life just outside this individuals' doorstep. That element in and of itself heightens the emotional sense of reclusiveness.

The star-filled sky and atmospheric haze ... again, a deft touch to your piece's mood.

Caveats? As always just suggestions and thoughts ... the lens' flare ... I think ... think, I would prefer, particularly in the lower left area that you didn't extend it as far. It interrupts with the contrasts of light and dark and something gets lost in that translation.

For this viewer, it creates some visual confusion as my eye follows that flare into the shadow behind the dwelling, and then into the left-hand corner. In particular, the one large circle touching and meeting the building could be done away with ... and IMHO, elevate this one that much more.

Very clean render, nice lines and very good balance compositionally. This is nice work, make no mistake about my words. I do like this. And thank you for sharing your creative efforts.

p.s. Most thoughtful of you to have dedicated this to your father. He and you both, should be proud.
