Al Gore: "And this, folks, is what will happen in another sixty seconds if we don't get rid of all of our cars, tear down all the factories, and make me the supreme ruler of the universe. That's the inconvenient truth!"
(Sorry! Just couldn't resist!)
I haven't played those games either. Probably didn't have a good enough computer. But this is an awesome picture. Very desolate looking, but I can almost imagine some little outpost or village somehwere in the distance. Makes me want to explore!
Michael, I'm too old to play such games, so let's talk about your image. I've respect for the way you've created, with aid of a comptuer, this virtual world. I'm living in the Netherlans, a country below sea level. Our primary fear is not a frozen world, but a melting North Pole. This will cause a dangerous situation for us, so I really hope that your virtual world becomes somewhat true. Well done. Regards, Cornelius
I just hafta go with Cornelius, mostly because I reside on Cape Cod, and it's eroding at the rate of 3-4 feet per year(!) on the outer Cape... 'Nuff said. This is a really neat (if chilling lol) landscape. Would make a great game.

Magnificent Michael! I don't know the game you mentioned, but I do know I like this image! Your creation of a frozen earth is eerie yet beautiful. I like all the land with the sharp tops. Super clear and well composed - you got it all. The blues, greys and white snow covered terrain are a pleasure to my eyes. I enjoyed Caiden's remarks which were quite clever. Thanks for this intriguing image :^>
