This was taken during a climb of Piton des Neiges (3070m) on the island La Reunion in the indian ocean. You start in a magical city called Cilaos which lies in a volcanic crater surrounded by high walls of rainforest. This shot was taken about 1 hour before the sunlight would reach the crater.

this is lovley, i like the monochrome tones, its not till you view it full size you realise there is some colour there, sounds like a beautiful place.

Great shot from a dreamy spot...but tell me why is it in the 'places of worship' gallery? Thanks for sharing. Hope you will post some more shots from that paradise. :)
