I like that its not symmetrical, or just mirrored, a lot of fractals i see are like that, i think with a little more depth in the background you could really have something. Props for being honest about your own work! but you deserve to give yourself more credit

I rather like this despite - or because of - its simplicity. It's rather elegant. Certainly promising work. A different background to add depth might well help, as hkperera suggests.
