There are times when you gotta love a photograph that doesn't try too hard! I must have dozens of beach pics...nice big waves, gorgeous skies, interesting driftwood or seagulls...but this one struck a chord with me. I love the way the colors of the water blend in perfect progression into the sky and how the sand moves from light to dark to match the color intensity of the water's edge. And those little waves contribute to the peacefulness of the scene. If I had to use one word to describe this photo, I'd say "friendly".

Friendly is what I would call it also. Nothing more relaxing than to sit in the sand and listen to the soft waves making their contact with the beach. Great shot. Thanks for sharing.

I always like a view of water. to see this shot, make me feel so comfort. The water and sand tease me to feel like I am sitting on the beach. It would be great to be there, right?

The beautiful colour palette of this shot drew my attention to it even just at thumbnail size, and at fullsize it's superb! The elegant simplicity of the composition is also very good. I do think the shot could be sharpened just a little, and also the lighting tweaked slightly as the shot seems slightly over-exposed - there looks to be a bit of flare in the white wave-foam.
