La Roque-Gageac is a commune in the Dordogne department in Aquitaine, south-western France. Perched above the Dordogne River, it has been designated one of "The most beautiful villages of France". I was arriving by canoe to this magnificent place. Hope you enjoy. ;)

A nice shot. Great capture of the water and reflections. Are there buildings carved into the cliff on the left of the photo? Wonderful scene.

My wife and I ate the best meal we've ever had in a restaurant called The Golden Goose (in English) in La Roque-Gageac about 20 years ago. It is a stunning part of the world and this image does it great justice as do all your pictures of The Dordogne.
