I tried to create an effect with a long exposure shot. I don't know if it is a success. This photo was taken last summer in south western France.

I don't know if this is what you were trying for but I really like it. I like the simplicity of it, almost minimalist.

I agree with our Steve before me, only that I would not use the word "almost". This image here is downright minimalistic, if anything is !!! LOL
Quite pleasantly minimalistic, neat and tidy and I like it so much that I would even crop them prints in the foreground. I will most certainly do it when I use it actually on my desktop LOL
