The sloping diagonal lines and verticals of the cliff, combined with the angle of the top work really well together. The sky is the problem, as it is a little bright and draws the eye into the blank space and away from the structure of the cliff. Some people on this site would have just replaced the sky with a stock sky they had in another photograph, which I think amounts to cheating really, but never mind. Post processing such a bland sky is not going to work either, except to make it a dark bland sky perhaps. The real problem, and I get this a lot on my images too, is that the lightness contrast between the two parts of the image is just too great. I am afraid I am at a loss as to how this can be improved, except to resort to HDR.
