I have a feeling i know what you will say about this but i have posted it anyways because i liked the view of the castle nestled between the trees. It is a castle ruin that is on the meander in the river and from the top tower you can see for miles along the river and to the coast. Every year i bring groups of students to this area of the world so it holds a lot of special memories for me. Hope you like it too :)

---I have a feeling i know what you will say about this---

Are you sure, Rachel? Can only confirm or deny this when you tell us what this feeling is, LOL!!!!

Okay, what I like to say about this image is only meant as a supportive comment because I see, from photographic point of view, that you have, by the lack of having a helicopter available (lol), achieved the best possible result. If I was standing there, think I couln't have provided a better image. On the other hand, this scenery is too interesting not to capture it, the more as it holds a lot of special memories to you.
I do appreciate that you like to share it. Thanks!

Regards, Cornelius.

PS: the swans are a good addition to this one!

Rachel, I think it is a very pleasing scene, and what a great place to take your students. We do not have castles here, so I enjoy the ones I see from across the pond. ♥♥tigs=^..^=

I like the perspective and composition of this shot, Rachel. Lovely colours and a great view of the landscape. Nice work with the sky and lighting.

Hi, Rachel...That's quite the ominous beginning to a narrative when you say, "I have a feeling i know what you will say about this". I'm not even sure yet what I'm going to say. Once I write my critique, try to get back to me and we'll see if you're a mind reader or not.

I'm going to say this: This shot reminds me of the time when I was 18 years old and in the back seat of Suzy Schwartz's car. I knew that Suzy liked me and I liked her, but I was surprised to find us in the back seat of her car with neither of us hardly wearing any clothes. It was February in the Midwest but I don't think we noticed the chill outside the car. I had never used a condom before and, given my sense of urgency, put the thing on backwards.

If you had a feeling that I was going to tell you that, you win the prize of the day.
