I have to say i am clutching at some serious straws here. Due to work circumstances i havent been out to take any photos in 6 months and the only new picture i have is a rather unflattering shot of me bending over the oven on Christmas day! Therefore i am digging deep into the proverbial shoe box with this one. This image was horribly over exposed but i have rammed the levels and colour saturation up pretty much as high as they will go and i have to say im rather pleased with the result. I kinda like the stylised result. Let me know what you think! All comments and constructive critisism is welcome!

Actually I think you did a good job of trying to save it. What really catches my eye in this one, is the arch of the rock formation and how it extends into the water, reminds me of something like a sea monster. :) =^..^=tigs

Hi, Rachel...

Happy to see that you survived your latest session of teaching the wild animals and taming the staff.

If I hadn't read the narrative, I would have said that the shot is overexposed and oversaturated. The saddest part of the entire saga is that you have the makings from a compositional perspective of a killer shot. I wouldn't mind if you sent me a copy of the unedited version just to see if I might be able to come up with anything better.

Given the narrative, you've done a wonderful job of salvaging the shot. The rock formation reminds me of a dinosaur drinking water. I just read what Sandi said. I guess I'm repeating many of her thoughts. Brilliant minds think alike I guess.

Love the title, but I was hoping for a different shot. I was hoping for the "unflattering shot of me bending over the oven" view. :-)

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

A nice capture of the sea monster. I assume it is peaceful or very good at hiding given the presence of the beach-goers. An interesting scene with nice colours and textures. Too bad about the over exposed lighting, but it does add charm to the scene.

It's very eye catching... Bright colors, great contrast, alluring lines, deep shadows... Very interesting... Keep it up!
