A very hot shot!

My choice would be The Old Pier by a mile :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This shot is gloriously red, Rachel. Wonderful clarity and focus. Did you use a flash or was this taken in a market with fluorescent lighting? The reflected light is a bit much for me this morning. I thought "Chimney Pots" was more in line with the contest, but I'm horrible at picking winners and losers. On the Chimney Pots shot I would have preferred some more like this. It's a quikee edit, but I would have removed all of the the power lines, antennae, satellite dishes and spent some time making sure that it's chimney was close to identical.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

As I have discovered myself, the trouble with asking others to help you decide is you end up with various opinions and have to decide yourself anyways...this is no doubt an eye-popper and represents the theme well but I kinda' lean towards 'Chimney Pots'...whatever you decide, best of luck in the contest.

In answer to your plea: Chimney Pots is my personal preference.

A great repetitive pattern in these hot looking peppers. Great colours and details in the photo. I like the light reflecting back off the peppers. Good work.
