OK...here's a rework of my original Smooth Jazz . This one has the black background and I've added a few "blues notes" to it.

I like this one much much much better !! While the blue background was great, I just didn't feel it was right with this image. I'd like to see where you put that background though, with the right image it'll be gorgeous. Against the black that pink really pops & looks even brighter. and I love the addition of your blue(s) notes ! Perfect ! Well done Randy !

Now, this looks more like jazz...to my eye, at any rate. Now I'm thinking of smoky bars and neon lights and and women in colorful dresses...I guess I'm thinking of smooth jazz from sometime in the past, the 40s and 50s, say. Yup, looks better to me.
